Wine Tasting at Malibu Wine Safari

MALIBU WINE SAFARI

The day I spent at Malibu Wine Safari is unforgettable. It was such a serene experience –from tasting local wines, indulging in crackers & spread, basking in the sun, feeding the animals, riding on a custom-built Safari vehicle, and good vibes – What more could a girl ask for?

Hop on the safari truck and allow me to be your tour guide on a ride through the 1,000 acre Saddlerock Ranch and vineyard in the Santa Monica Mountains.

It may get a little bumpy so buckle up. Hold onto your hats. We’re going down a steep hill. Wooooah! Okay, got the adrenaline going. Now, you will start to see the infinite rows of grape vines. The greenery is breathtaking!

First stop – meet Stanley the Giraffe. Lucky for me, I was with a smaller group so we were able to go up on the deck to stand eye level with Stanley. Stanley’s view of the world is magical – Lettuce have a photo shoot! Stanley loves both.

What’s a hot summer day without wine? A whole lot of wining! But lucky for us, there was plenty to taste. So let’s get off this truck and go taste some local Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc and Rosé of Grenache. One taste at a time. Cheers! Clink! Wander off into the open airy space and take it all in; see the horses in the distance, bask in the sun and share a few laughs. The wine is delicious, btw.

There is so much more to see – let’s hop back up on the truck and see what else Malibu Wine Safari has planned for us. I’ve got the giggles + feeling the wine. (Insert red dress salsa girl emoji.)

No way! I can’t believe they have meet and greets with Kendrick llama, Michelle & Barack Ollama, Llama Odom, Llama Del Rey, Justin Zeber, and Yak Efron. Lettuce have some fun With our furry friends.

Now it is time for wine round #2 with local reds from Saddlerock Ranch and Semler. Taste the Cabernet, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, and Red Blend. Don't mind me while I indulge in the yummy lemon artichoke pesto, Moroccan Ratatouille, and black olive tapenade by The Gracious Gourmet.

Wow! That was so much fun and so exhausting. I think that is our queue to return to the lodge.

Cheers to you for joining me on the tour. I’m so very GRAPEFUL for you.
